At the Christian holiday and retreat centre l’Eau Vive, located in sunny Provence, France, Joel and Amanda like to use creative ways to share God’s love with those who don’t know Him.
They enlisted the help of Sylvia and Laura to run a free watercolour workshop for local people. Sylvia is a Canadian art teacher who is gifted with watercolours. Laura is part of a well-known worship group in France, who has created a series of patchworks on the theme of the Passion. Together, using their creative gifts of painting and sewing, they were able to show how God is a creator who, from nothing, made this world full of beauty, and how He much He loves his children.
As well as learning new painting skills and enjoying a meal together, the women who attended the workshop got a glimpse of the Creator God who loves them.
