Manara International provide practical support to refugees in a camp near the Syrian border in multiple ways such as providing food, heaters and goody bags to children. In poor living conditions without access to basic living supplies and medical help, this support greatly helps many families live better.
To encourage a sustainable living and give families an independent income, a new and innovative project has been implemented. Providing families with a few sheep, is a simple yet life changing way of helping them practically. The sheep will provide milk and meat, and then eventually be sold to raise funds for the families to support themselves.
Even in difficult and dark situations which may seem hopeless, this story proves the light of the gospel can shine forth and God’s love can be shared in new and varied ways.
